Area Risk Assessor
Assess property-related risks and provide professional insights that support informed lending decisions.
As an Area Risk Assessor, you'll provide professional risk assessments and expert property insights that support residential lending decisions across a varied property portfolio. Working with a range of property types, you'll apply your knowledge and judgement to deliver accurate, evidence-based assessments.
We're looking for:
- MRICS, FRICS or AssocRICS qualified professionals
- Experience assessing residential property risk and valuation matters
- Knowledge of BTL, HMO and complex residential properties
- Strong understanding of lender requirements and property market factors
- Excellent analytical, decision-making and communication skills
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

Risk Director
Lead risk strategy and professional standards, supporting confident decisions and sustainable business growth.
Working with lender clients and teams across the business, you’ll lead Westmarq’s approach to risk, professional standards and sustainable growth.
We're looking for someone who can:
- Lead risk, technical, audit and quality assurance
- Manage senior lender, client and industry relationships
- Oversee PII, significant claims, complaints and emerging risks
- Use data and insight to strengthen valuation and surveying risk management
- Ensure RICS, lender and governance requirements are met
- Identify and mitigate wider business risks, including Health & Safety and cyber
- Lead and develop our Risk and Technical teams, embedding a strong risk culture
You’ll be RICS-qualified with significant residential mortgage valuation and surveying experience, strong knowledge of PII and lender requirements, and the credibility to engage with senior industry stakeholders.
You’ll bring strategic and commercial judgement, strong leadership skills and a broad business perspective. The role sits on Westmarq’s Leadership Team and reports directly to the Managing Director.
